Whole Milk - 1 cup
Heavy Cream - 2 cups
Granulated Sugar - ¾ cup
Vanilla Extract - 2 teaspoons
Salt - ¼ teaspoon

Instructions

1.
In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
2.
Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
3.
Cover and refrigerate the mixture until well chilled, about 2 hours or overnight.
4.
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5.
Serve immediately for a soft texture, or freeze for a firmer consistency.
