Ingredients

• All-purpose flour - 3 cups
• Granulated sugar - 2 cups
• Unsalted butter - 1 cup (2 sticks), softened
• Eggs - 4 large
• Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
• Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Milk - 1 cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.

   In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

   Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Stir in the vanilla extract.

   In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

   Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with flour.

   Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

   Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

   Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
