Ingredients: 2 cups, hulled and sliced Fresh strawberries; 3/4 cup Granulated sugar; 2 cups Heavy cream; 1 cup Whole milk; 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract; 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Fresh strawberries - 2 cups, hulled and sliced
Granulated sugar - ¾ cup
Heavy cream - 2 cups
Whole milk - 1 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

In a bowl, combine strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar. Let sit for 15 minutes.

Mash strawberries slightly with a fork and set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining sugar, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract until sugar is dissolved.

Stir in the mashed strawberries and lemon juice.
5.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
6.
Transfer to a container and freeze for an additional 2 hours or until firm before serving.
