Ingredients

• boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 2 pounds
• BBQ sauce - 1 cup
• onion - 1 medium, diced
• garlic - 2 cloves, minced
• olive oil - 2 tablespoons
• salt - to taste
• black pepper - to taste
• burger buns - 4
• coleslaw (optional) - for serving

Instructions

   In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

   Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

   Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet with the onions and garlic.

   Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

   Remove the chicken from the skillet and shred it using two forks.

   Return the shredded chicken to the skillet and mix it with the sauce until well-coated.

   Toast the burger buns lightly, then pile the pulled BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each bun.
