Ingredients

• Heavy cream - 2 cups
• Whole milk - 1 cup
• Granulated sugar - ¾ cup
• Mint extract - 1 teaspoon
• Green food coloring - a few drops
• Dark chocolate chunks - 1 cup

Instructions

   In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar.

   Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

   Remove from heat and stir in the mint extract and a few drops of green food coloring until desired color is achieved.

   Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

   Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.

   Add the dark chocolate chunks during the last few minutes of churning.

   Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
