Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - ½ cup
• Brown sugar - 2 cups
• Sweetened condensed milk - 1 can (14 oz)
• Maple syrup - ½ cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Salt - ¼ teaspoon
• Pecans - 1 cup, chopped
• Powdered sugar - 2 cups

Instructions

   Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides.

   In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

   Add brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and maple syrup. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.

   Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

   Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.

   Let the mixture cool slightly, then beat in the powdered sugar until smooth.

   Fold in the chopped pecans.

   Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.

   Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature until set, about 2 hours.

    Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
