Ingredients

• All-purpose flour - 2 cups
• Granulated sugar - 1 cup
• Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Milk - ¾ cup
• Unsalted butter, melted - ¼ cup
• Eggs - 2 large
• Lemon zest - 1 tablespoon
• Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
• Powdered sugar - 1 cup
• Lemon juice (for glaze) - 3 tablespoons

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

   In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

   In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

   Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

   Fill a greased donut pan with the batter, about 3/4 full in each cavity.

   Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the donuts are lightly golden and spring back when touched.

   Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

   For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.

   Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and let them set on the wire rack.
