Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Dark chocolate - 8 oz
• Granulated sugar - 1.5 cups
• Eggs - 3 large
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• All-purpose flour - 1 cup
• Cocoa powder - ¼ cup
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Hazelnuts - 1 cup, chopped

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

   Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.

   Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until fully combined.

   Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

   Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold until just combined.

   Gently fold in half of the chopped hazelnuts.

7. 7.

   Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

   Sprinkle the remaining hazelnuts over the top.

   Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

    Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
