Ingredients

• fruit juice (your choice) - 1 cup
• granulated sugar - ½ cup
• gelatin powder - 2 tablespoons
• corn syrup - ¼ cup
• citric acid (optional) - 1 teaspoon
• food coloring (optional) - a few drops
• non-stick spray - for greasing

Instructions

   In a saucepan, combine the fruit juice, granulated sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

   Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

   After 5 minutes, stir the mixture over low heat until the gelatin is fully dissolved.

   If desired, add citric acid and food coloring, stirring to combine.

   Pour the mixture into a greased silicone mold or a shallow dish.

   Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

   Once set, remove the gummies from the mold or cut them into squares if in a dish.

   Store the gummy candies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
