Ingredients

• chicken breasts - 4 pieces
• fresh lemon juice - ¼ cup
• olive oil - ¼ cup
• garlic cloves, minced - 3
• fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
• fresh thyme, chopped - 1 tablespoon
• salt - 1 teaspoon
• black pepper - ½ teaspoon

Instructions

   In a bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.

   Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.

   Seal the bag or cover the dish, and marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

   Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

   Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.

   Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

   Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
