Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Granulated sugar - 2 cups
• Brown sugar - 1 cup
• Cocoa powder - 1 cup
• All-purpose flour - 1 cup
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Eggs - 4 large
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

   Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.

   Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder.

   Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Stir in the vanilla extract.

   Mix in the flour and salt until just combined.

   Fold in the chocolate chips.

   Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

   Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges appear set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

    Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
