Ingredients

• unsalted butter - ½ cup
• granulated sugar - 1 cup
• brown sugar - ½ cup
• large eggs - 2
• vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• all-purpose flour - ½ cup
• cocoa powder - ⅓ cup
• espresso powder - 1 tablespoon
• salt - ¼ teaspoon
• chocolate chips - ½ cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.

   In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

   Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

   Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

   In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt.

   Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

   Fold in the chocolate chips.

   Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

   Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
