Ingredients: 4 slices rye bread; 8 ounces corned beef; 4 slices Swiss cheese; 1 cup sauerkraut; 4 tablespoons Russian dressing; 2 tablespoons butter

The Classic Reuben Sandwich is a delicious combination of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing, all grilled between slices of rye bread. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.

On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer the corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing.

Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.

Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

Flip the sandwiches carefully and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, about another 4-5 minutes.
7.
Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
