Ingredients

• Dark chocolate - 250 grams
• Unsalted butter - 250 grams
• Granulated sugar - 200 grams
• Eggs - 6 large
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Ground almonds - 150 grams
• Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
• Salt - ¼ teaspoon
• Powdered sugar - for dusting

Instructions

1. 1.

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a 23cm springform pan.

   Melt dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.

   Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar. Let it cool slightly.

   Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Stir in the vanilla extract.

   Fold in ground almonds, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.

   Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

   Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is set and a skewer inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

   Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

    Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
