Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Granulated sugar - 2 cups
• Brown sugar - ½ cup
• Large eggs - 4
• Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
• All-purpose flour - 1 cup
• Cocoa powder - ¾ cup
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Baking powder - ½ teaspoon
• Chocolate chips - 1 cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

   In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

   In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

   Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

   Fold in the chocolate chips.

   Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

   Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

   Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares and serving.
