Ingredients

• All-purpose flour - 2 ¼ cups
• Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Unsalted butter - 1 cup (softened)
• Granulated sugar - ¾ cup
• Brown sugar - ¾ cup (packed)
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Large eggs - 2
• Chocolate chips - 2 cups

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

   In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

   In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

   Add vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.

   Stir in the chocolate chips.

   Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.

   Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

   Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
