Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Stir in the vanilla extract.
3.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
4.
Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, add the chocolate chips and churn for an additional 5 minutes.
5.
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
