Ingredients

• Popped popcorn - 10 cups
• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Brown sugar - 2 cups
• Light corn syrup - ½ cup
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

   In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

   Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

   Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.

   Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract.

   Pour caramel over the popcorn in a large bowl, stirring to coat evenly.

   Let it cool for a few minutes until it's safe to handle.

   With greased hands, form the coated popcorn into balls.

   Place the popcorn balls on wax paper to cool completely.

   Store in an airtight container.
